FTG Starts Beekeeping!

As a part of our mission to best serve a diverse range of communities, Matthew spent time with a team of local beekeepers to learn about the trade and expand FTG’s capabilities! Beekeeping serves as both a means of financial sustainability for FTG, but more importantly as a method of employment and training for communities we serve. With the knowledge gained and partnerships created with local Ghanian beekeepers, we plan to begin our own projects to train and produce independent beekeepers!

CHE Partnership

Last week FTG President, Matthew Atokple, joined the Community Impact Team led by Dr Troy and Jammie Tompkins to train a group of pastors and church leaders in the town of Ho on COMMUNITY HEALTH EDUCATION/ EVANGELISM – “CHE”!

Matthew had such a fruitful time facilitating the TOT1, an education curriculum offered by the CHE program. During the program Matthew also had the opportunity of teaching Biblical Worldview, Roadmap To Development and of course Community/Church/Family Gardening!
